Some exciting news !

We’ve got some exciting news to share with you … the lovely Redeezine arts and crafts shop in Cheadle is the first shop to stock our Dappled Sky wares!

That’s right, we now have our work in a bricks ‘n’ mortar shop, and it’s a lovely little shop too.

For those of you not familiar with Redeezine or Cheadle – it’s at 77 High Street, which is situated at the end of the high street near the churches . Cheadle’s town centre has many charming old buildings and Redeezine dates back to the 1500’s too – it’s a gorgeous black and white Tudor building packed full of crafts and art from local makers, including the work by the artist and owner Dee Beardmore.

There are some lovely little shops in the town and you can immediately see the history in the buildings. Cheadle is one of the three market towns in the Staffordshire Moorlands, near to Alton Towers and the Peak District and only a few miles from Stoke on Trent. It’s a quiet little place that you probably wouldn’t expect to find a major architectural masterpiece – as it’s home to the wonderful St Giles church created by the world renowned Augustus Pugin ( go inside – it’s phenomenal) If you don’t know who he is – Google him!

Dee approached us and asked if we would be interested in stocking some of our pieces in her shop, so we went to have a look at the weekend and said yes straight away. The shop stocks a wide range of work with a wide price range, so there’s something for everyone, from crochet and coasters to jewellery and hand sculpted work.

Inside you’ll find some of our colourful flatback bottle kilns, decorated in our ‘bubble design’ and the ‘dog at the door’ design. You will also find the only ‘full vase’ in the bubble design that we’ve made so far. … it took absolutely ages to paint!

A unique treat for you at Redeezine are two flatback Christmas Bottlekilns we’ve supplied – both with a humorous scene of a snowman being ‘held up’ by another snowman … with a hairdryer ! Those pieces are also different because they were designed and painted by Paul . They’re not available in our Etsy shop at the moment – just in Dee’s shop.

Another special range just for Redeezine are some of our lovely new Bottle Oven Mugs. These are not quite the same as the new ones in our Etsy shop – we’ve given Dee six individually designed mugs, each in a different design and colour way, so if you manage to get hold of one of those you’ll get yourself something quite unique!

If you pop in to Redeezine you will see some familiar and friendly faces – our iconic Frida Katlo figurines and fabulous Freddie Meowcury too.

We’ve not provided loads of stock and many of them are unique one off or very limited availability, so if you fancy something for special Christmas presents it might be worth making a trip out to Cheadle very soon.
