It’s nearly Christmas Eve, in just over one week it will 2013!
There’s no sign of pretty white snow landing here in the UK just lots of rainy dreary weather. Many people will be feeling very distressed across the country this Christmas with houses, villages and towns flooded, others who are homeless will also be feeling hungry, cold and lonely. While at the same time most of us will be enjoying bountiful food and drink, warmth and happiness.
I’m not being a bar-humbug, I really enjoy Christmas. It’s a strange and loaded time of year – it brings us the festivities and then regardless of our circumstance we all tend to reflect on the year that’s gone and think of what we would like to happen in the year ahead – then before we know it – the next year will be here!
So I guess it’s time to wish everyone a special few days of doing whatever it is you love to do most at this time of year…. visiting family and friends, playing games, eating and drinking until you feel fit to burst, hiding away, flying off to foreign parts, slobbing about in your PJ’s all day, walking, watching tv, reading, carol concerts, going to church, partying, night-clubbing, remembering people no longer around, welcoming new life into the world, celebrating, laughing, thinking, planning, relaxing.
Whatever you do – do it your own way and enjoy! xxxx
